Our role is to investigate, guide, and provide clarity around what is driving your symptoms.
Your role is to apply this guidance - integrating nutritional, lifestyle, herbal and/or supplements, tracking changes, attending appointments and remaining engaged throughout the process. Healing naturally is a journey, where consistency and commitment play an important role in creating lasting results.

Your first appointment focuses on understanding the full picture of your health. We’ll review your main concerns, health history, current medications and supplements, diet, sleep, stress, lifestyle factors, and any relevant lab work you’ve already completed. Based on this information, you’ll receive a personalized, evidence-informed plan that may include nutrition guidance, lifestyle changes, and targeted natural therapies. Time is also reserved for questions so you leave with clear next steps.
Timelines vary based on your goals, adherence to plan, current health status, and how long symptoms have been present. Some people notice improvements in energy, digestion, or sleep within a few weeks, while more complex or longstanding concerns may require a longer, phased approach over several months. Your plan is designed to be measurable and adaptable, and we’ll review progress regularly to refine recommendations.
Safety is out top priority. If you take prescription medications or have complex health conditions, we’ll review potential interactions and contraindications before suggesting supplements, herbs, or other natural therapies. In some situations, we may recommend additional monitoring or collaboration with your prescribing clinician. Please do not stop or change any medication without guidance from the licensed professional who prescribed it.
Recommendations are guided by research, clinical reasoning, and your individual health profile. Safety is prioritised by considering your medical history, allergies, pregnancy/breastfeeding status, and interactions with medications or existing conditions. We also start with foundational strategies (nutrition and lifestyle) and add supplements or therapies when they are appropriate and clearly justified.
Naturopathic care is designed to complement-not replace-primary medical care. We do not provide emergency care, and we may advise you to consult your primary care provider or specialist for diagnosis, imaging, or urgent medical evaluation when appropriate.
Nutrition guidance is tailored to your preferences, culture, schedule, and health needs. The goal is to make evidence-informed changes you can maintain, not to impose overly restrictive rules. When targeted dietary trials are appropriate (for example, short-term elimination diet), we explain the rationale, duration, and how to do it safely while keeping meals enjoyable and balanced.
When appropriate, we can recommend or review laboratory testing to help clarify contributing factors and guide your plan. This may include reviewing existing results from your healthcare provider or discussing additional testing options relevant to your case. Lab insights can help identify patterns related to nutrient status, metabolic health, inflammation, digestive function, or hormonal balance. All recommendations are designed to complement-not replace-medical evaluation, and we encourage coordination with your primary care provider for diagnosis and urgent concerns.
Before your visit, complete any intake forms and gather relevant information such as a current medication and supplement list (including doses), recent lab results, imaging reports, and a brief timeline of key symptoms. If possible, bring 3-7 days of notes on meals, sleep, stress, bowel habits, and energy levels. This helps us identify patterns and prioritize next steps efficiently.
